Xiaomi Mi Universal IR Remote can't connect to app So I bought one of these devices, however I am having trouble configuring it. I found quite a few threads online from people having the same issue with this or another Xiaomi Mi device, but the solutions posted there don't work from me.

EDIT: Got the app working again doing this: Remove the Mi Remote apk from system partition (using TWRP file manager, or rooting the device and removing the apk manually with a file manager, or using a uninstaller app) Install again Mi Remote from the Play Store (or installing manually the latest apk).
